Alvarna (アルヴァーナ, Aruvana) is a location in Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. Alvarna is a maritime city relatively far from Kardia. As a city, it's smaller than the capital of Norad.

Alvarna Outskirts[]

Falling Star Path[]

Alvarna - Falling Star Path

Falling Star Path is North of the North Square. It connects to Messhina Valley (West), Padova Mountains (North), Trieste Forest (East).

A beautiful area north of Alvarna where, once a year, lots of shooting stars can be seen. In order to stay away from crowds, Barrett and Jake like to relax in this area during festival days. Sometimes Cecilia and Dorothy may join the boys there as a date.

The Farm[]

Farm In Front Of House

This property belongs to Douglas and Mana, but they allow Kyle to use it when he wanders into town with nowhere to stay. When Kyle gets married, his wife moves to the second floor of the farmhouse. Aaron and Aria live here in the second generation. Byron stands just outside the door on Festival days.

The Farm is East of North Square and North of Alvarna - East End. It contains the farmhouse where the protagonist can sleep, write in their journal (save), and store items. It also has a large field for growing seasonal crops which tamed monsters can tend, a small fishing hole, a woodshed, and the shipping box.

North Square[]

Alvarna - North Square

The North Square is south of Falling Star Path, East of Cherry Blossom Square, West of the Farm, and North of De Sainte-Coquille Park. Cecilia, Alicia, and Mana come here on Festival days.

Each floor can contain up to 4 monsters. Feed can be dropped into the storage unit to the left of its door.

The sign to the right of the barn door provides a list of all monsters. Selecting a monster in this list shows its current HP maximum, attack power, and special move. The list also indicates whether the monster is ready to harvest milk, wool, eggs, or honey from, as well as whether it is currently assigned to a job.

During the second generation, Aaron and Aria can ask Mayor Byron to excavate more basement levels. The barn can be upgraded up to 7 times, but the last stage become available only when Aaron and Aria meet the requirement for Palermo Shrine. Read plot for more details.
