In Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, Raguna can raise relationships with the entire population of Kardia.

Friendship[]

Everyone, including the Bachelorettes and Monsters, have a Friendship Point (FP) value. For monsters, this value is increased by using the Brush on them. For villagers, there are various ways to improve friendship. If the villager is also a bachelorette, the method may also improve her FP. See "Raising FP/LP" below for specifics.

Marriage[]

There are eleven bachelorettes in Kardia, made unique by their ability to grant Love Points (LP. One of these can become Raguna's wife if certain actions are completed, including raising the bachelorette's LP to 10. After marriage, the bachelorette will move into his house. Beginning with the day after the wedding ceremony, she will give him food to start his day every morning.

To get married, Raguna must upgrade his house for 200,000 Gold and 2000 Lumber by talking to Neumann, purchase the Double Bed from Ivan, and expand his kitchen. Raguna also needs to complete his future wife's subplot and raise her LP to 10. He can marry one of the bachelorettes at any time, except Lynette, as she is only marriageable after completing the main storyline.

Raising FP/LP[]

The people of Kardia are very diverse in their preferences, so no method of raising FP or LP works for everyone. This section explains the specifics of raising a villager's FP/LP values. With thanks to Pokeeiyuu of GameFAQs for testing and compiling the data.

Talking[]

One way to raise FP and/or LP is to talk to the person every day. Most villagers give 1 FP for speaking to them at least once in the day. Talking to them extra times does not grant extra FP. Some bachelorettes also give LP for talking to them. Specifically, Melody gives 2 LP for talking, Bianca, Felicity, Lara, Mist, and Rosetta give 1 LP; and Mei, Lynette, Sharron, Tabatha, and Tori give 0 LP for talking.

Festival Bonus[]

Villagers grant +20 FP for talking to them on a Festival day, and bachelorettes also add +10 LP to this bonus. Unfortunately, Sharron does not participate in town festivals, so there is no way to gain LP from talking to her, even on festivals.

Gifting[]

Most characters, including all non-bachelorette villagers, will grant 1 FP for receiving a "liked" gift, and most bachelorettes also add an amount of LP. Sharron adds the most, granting 20 FP and 20 LP for her Liked gifts; Lynette gives 0 FP but 2 LP, Bianca gives 0 FP and 0 LP, and all other bachelorettes give 1 LP. Giving Neutral gifts does not improve FP or LP. They are categorized as "Neutral" rather than "disliked" on this wiki because unlike "disliked" gifts in other games, they do not decrease FP or LP, they only fail to raise it.

Birthday Bonus[]

If a character receives their preferred Birthday Gift on their birthday, they grant an extra 8 FP. If the character is a bachelorette, she also adds 8 LP. Bianca is the exception, as she never grants any FP or LP gain for gifts, even on her birthday.

If a villager receives their Birthday Gift on a day that is not their birthday, they grant 1 FP as usual for a "liked" gift. If the character is a bachelorette, it gets more complicated. Mist is the most generous, granting +10 FP and +10 LP, Rosetta, Lara, and Sharron all grant 2 LP and 2 FP; Felicity, Tabatha, and Lynette grant 2 FP but only 1 LP; Tori, Melody, and Mei grant 2 FP but 0 LP, and Bianca continues to grant neither FP nor LP for gifts of any kind.

Spring Festival Bonus[]

On the Spring Festival, Cookies and Chocolate Cookies are treated as "liked" gifts by all bachelorettes, except Bianca. Sharron gives +7 FP (but no LP) for either item, Mei gives 5 FP and 5 LP, while all other bachelorettes give 7 FP and 7 LP for them.

Other Ways to Raise FP/LP[]

Sharron and Tabatha approve when Raguna becomes friends with monsters, with Sharron granting +10 FP and Tabatha granting +7 LP when he tames one. Improving a monster's FP, building barns, and raising the communication skill do not grant any bonuses, however.

Tori will grant 2 LP and 2 FP when Raguna inspects a bookshelf other than the Magic Book shelves in the back of the library.

Melody grants 1 LP immediately when Raguna pays for a bath, and then an additional 1 LP and 2 FP when he completes the bath.

Theories/unproven methods:[]

There are various rumours in the fan community, many of which are supported by dialogue within the game, about additional ways to raise or lower FP/LP. However, there is no documentation or record of testing these methods, nor is there any specific data to be found regarding how much FP/LP. Details on other aspects, such as which items should be in the shipping box for Rosetta's supposed gain, are also missing. Because they are not debunked either, these methods are included under the "unproven" caveat.

The game suggests that Melody loses LP if Raguna enters the ladies' bath.

Rosetta is said to gain LP at 5:00 if Raguna has certain items in the shipping bin.

Mei is purported to grant an LP bonus if given fishes on Fishing Day.

It's rumored that Lara loses LP if Raguna faints.
