Rune Abilities

Rune Abilities are special attacks that can be found off monsters or bought from either the bath house or magic shop.


Shortsword/One Handed Sword

The most basic weapon. Extremely well balanced and easy to use. Shortswords are the only weapon type that gain 100% of an equipped shield's bonuses.

Rush Attack

3,800 G A flurry. Press repeatedly to increase attacks and a finish.
Round Break 6,900 G A cyclone attack that knocks away foes. Great when surrounded.


Longsword/Two Handed Sword

Longswords have very high attack power. However the increase over faster weapons is relatively small early on, so they aren't recommend until much later in the game.

Spear

Spears have moderately high attack power and provide a small bonus to defense. Their basic attacks have very long range, but a narrow area of effect that can make them difficult to use.

Hammers and Axes

Hammers and axes belong to the same weapon type and share the same rune abilities. These types of weapons are the slowest but deal the highest damage.

Dual Blade

Dual Blades are faster and more damaging than shortswords, but do not gain a bonus while using a shield.

Fist

The fist is a type of weapon that can only be used when your character is transformed into a Woolly. The damage and abilities are based entirely on your skill level and your current level.
