Farm - In Front of House[]

Farm In Front of House Annotated

The main farming area, it contains various things for running your farm.

  1. Shipping Box. Items must be placed in here by hand in order to ship them. Shipped goods are collected at 3:00 every day, and the gold is automatically added to your total. Items gathered by monsters on Harvesting duty are transported to the shipping box automatically. Since monsters start work at 4:00, you won't receive payment for any goods they gather until the next day. Shipped goods are still paid for on festival days. By interacting with the shipping box, you can see a record of everything you've shipped. See: "Shipping Box", below.
  2. Watering Hole. You can refill your water pot here. You can also fish, but you will only catch Junk.
  3. Woodshed. Here you can check how much wood you have and retrieve some for crafting. Placing a Branch inside converts it into 1 Wood. If a branch or stump is destroyed with an axe, the lumber is automatically transported to the woodshed. Destroying a branch with an Axe yields 3 Wood each, and Stumps yield 15.
  4. Fishing Pond. You can catch fish here. The fish available correspond to the season.
  5. your Field, an 8 x 6 plot of tillable soil. Un-tilled spaces will randomly spawn branches, stumps, stones, boulders, and seasonal grasses. In the Spring, bamboo sprouts may also appear. Tamed monsters tend this field if set to watering or harvesting duty, starting at 4:00 PM. One monster will work the top three rows, then trade off for a second monster (if available) for the bottom three. If no second monster is available, the bottom three rows will not be tended. See more about monster work at Monsters (RF2)
