Wow it's been forever since I had the first game in my hands and it feels so good to be playing it again. Rune factory 3 made me feel totally spoiled though. Between the time going by in buildings and the items that when you place them down don't just disappear and even the spell that takes you back home (or the fact that you can have 2 equiped at a time) part of me misses the 3rd game. Maybe it's because I just finished it again.

I've got almost all the games. I have Rune Factory A Fantasy Harvest Moon, Rune Factory 2, Rune Factory Frontier, Rune Facotry Tides Of Destiny and Rune Factory 3. I can't WAIT to purchase RF (Rune Factory) 4!

So hi, again. ^_^ In case you didn't know, Rune Factory is coming out this summer. Which is like, super awesome. So, just curious, what's everyones thoughts on the English names? I would be fine with them leaving them as they are, but I doubt they'll do that~ So, any thoughts?

Some of the names would already be 100% fine in English (Arthur, Kiel, Margaret, Jones Nancy, and Blossom) as they are already English names. 

One name that I don't really like is Doug. I don't know why, but it sounds too plain for a Rune Factory name to me...  And there's already Douglas, too.

I think I've got about half the monsters up on the RF4 page ^^;

It's actually really hard, since I don't have a perfect memory of previous games, and even ignoring RFF (which was localized by a different group) some monster and item names change between games, so I've been trying my best to keep translations correct as I add them, and I'm checking it against some of the older game wikis for monsters I know were there before.

The drops and locations are especially hard though, because the source I've been looking at is in Japanese, and when I try to translate monster drops I get something like "chin skin insect insect insect skin clean timber" which after a bit of groaning over I figured was "Insect Jaw, Insect Skin, Wood" but ant drops are o…

I don't have RF4 myself, but I've been reading up on it a lot. Since this wiki was wherre I first came when I checked out the game it made me sad to see it missing a lot of details even after the game had been out for a few months. I'm adding what info I can to it, but I'm hessitant to put in things that I'm not sure of, since, again, I do not own a Japanese copy of the game.

For a few weeks now, i've been thinking about writing a Rune factory 4 love story; it's a Frey and Doug love story that mainly focuses on Frey and Lest's past, their family issues and ancestry, as well as Frey and Doug's love life, Lest's somewhat Dynamic change as the story progresses, Doug's feelings for Frey as they begin shift from Forte to Frey, the emotions that pass as the characters soon understand about the things that happen around them, the heart-felt pain that the main characters experience, and even more! I just got Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny in the mail today. I just popped it into my wii and am getting ready to play it soon. I noticed the wiki is still relatively underdeveloped for the game, so does anybody who's played it have any sort of tips, tricks, and what I should be expecting?

I played the first Rune Factory, and married Melody. I played a bit of the second one, but got bored quickly and stopped with the series after that. I thought I'd give it another chance though, and thought it may be different on the wii. I'm pretty excited, but I'm so used to Harvest Moon that I hope I'll be able to adjust wit the combat and everything again!
